The focus is on a walk-in 360° projection environment where visitors can experience works related to the SDGs. The immersive projections allow visitors to experience global interconnections in a sensory and immediate way—they showcase both the potential environmental, social, and economic consequences of failure and the positive prospects that can arise from decisive and collaborative action.
Among other things, the exhibition features short films produced by students at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. The six projection surfaces are being created as a student construction project in the Department of Architecture. The exhibition is accompanied by participatory workshops—such as the fishbowl panel on August 26, 2026, at the Museum of Applied Art—in which visitors reflect together on their experiences, establish local connections, and develop concrete courses of action. The goal of the project is to transform awareness into participation and to highlight the SDGs not only as a global agenda but also as a shared local arena for action.
