Under the motto Design for Democracy. Atmospheres for a better life, we want to create an international centre and a movement for design in Frankfurt RheinMain – sustainable and participatory. The aim is to establish initiatives and projects that strengthen the cohesion of the region, improve the quality of our co-existence and strengthen democracy.

We are looking for

Committed students and graduates who are passionate about the topic of “Design for Democracy” and want to spread this message in the Rhine-Main region.

Your tasks

• Engage in conversations with the local community and provide information about WDC 2026
• Conduct workshops (e.g. screen printing, poster design, etc.: the contents of the workshops will be provided)
• Set up and dismantle the workshop stations, pavilions, chairs and tables
• Produce content for social media using a smartphone

Requirements

• Good self-organization skills
• Interest in interacting with visitors
• Optional: Experience with content creation (photo, video, text)
• Optional: Do you have a driver's license or prior manual skills? Let us know!

Facts

• From now through to (including) 2026
• The schedule is flexible, you decide when you have time
• 17€/h (< 25 years old) gross on invoice, or
• 21€/h (> 25 years old) gross on invoice, or
• 26€/h (with Master's or diploma degree) gross on invoice
