Vision 31 is creating a real-world laboratory that enables Frankfurt residents to participate democratically and co-productively in shaping the transformation of the former university campus into a cultural campus.
The temporary use of the former art library is creating an inclusive, easily accessible and participatory space where resources can be shared and artistic and social experimentation is possible: while the lower floors offer space for initiatives and shared infrastructure, the spacious upper floor invites expansive, experimental uses. A temporary exhibition and performance space for dance, theatre and music is being created here, which already offers an experimental glimpse of the potential of the cultural campus.
The surrounding public space of the former university campus is becoming a lively meeting place, open to a wide variety of formats.
