Offenbach Institute of Mobility Design
The Kaiserlei Future Pavilion is a temporary experience and exhibition venue. Located on the 10,000 m² development site of the former Kaiserlei roundabout, it creates an interdisciplinary space for mobility, urban development, design, and society.
At its core is a curated exhibition on sustainable mobility solutions, complemented by an open event and café area as well as interactive formats such as VR simulations, panel discussions, and guided tours of planned infrastructure projects. The project brings together stakeholders from design, science, business, politics, and urban society, making future topics tangible. With landmarks such as a cable car cabin offering a panoramic view, the pavilion makes the future visible.
The pavilion is envisioned as a symbol of transformation, participation, and co-creative urban development.
The project is initiated by the Offenbach Institute for Mobility Design (HfG Offenbach) in collaboration with strong partners including the City of Offenbach, IHK Offenbach, DB Regio, RMV, Vestre, and BPD.
